TikTok Shop’s Black Friday Gate Is a 3.5 Score
TikTok Shop's US Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign runs November 11 through November 30. The deadline that matters comes earlier: your shop has to clear eligibility before the campaign opens.
TikTok's seller guide sets the gate at a Shop Performance Score of 3.5 or higher. A seller without a score may still qualify with fewer than three serious violations in the prior 30 days.
That makes BFCM an operations test. A discount calendar and creator bookings do not compensate for an account health restriction.
The Eligibility Checks You Can Run Today
Shop eligibility appears on the Campaign Details page. Product eligibility appears on the Register Products page in Seller Center.
Holiday Mode has to be off, since the shop needs to accept orders. An Order Volume Limit can also restrict participation, typically when TikTok has concerns about fulfillment capacity.
Products can be rejected for unusually high complaint levels, including poor ratings or quality-related returns.
TikTok says shops scoring 4.0 or higher may receive added benefits or product highlighting. Treat that as possible upside rather than promised traffic. The 3.5 threshold is the one that matters, because falling below it removes the opportunity entirely.
If the channel is new to you, setting up and operating a US TikTok Shop covers the account, catalog, warehouse, and fulfillment work that has to function before campaign registration means anything.
Dispatch Extensions Come With a Catch
TikTok is extending service-level deadlines during peak.
US local shipping standard and auction orders placed November 11 through November 24 get one additional business day on dispatch and auto-cancellation deadlines. Orders placed November 25 through December 1 get two additional business days. Orders from December 2 through December 5 get one additional business day.
International shipping receives similar extensions measured in calendar days. Preorders and back orders are excluded.
That is breathing room, not permission to sell inventory you cannot process. TikTok says products with a high overdue-unshipped rate may be removed for the rest of the campaign.
Set inventory limits from confirmed warehouse throughput rather than units available in a spreadsheet.
December Revenue Settles in February
Eligible items sold between 4:00 p.m. Pacific on November 11 and 11:59 p.m. Pacific on December 31 can be returned through February 10, 2027. The campaign window overrides a seller-configured return window.
Selected categories including some electronics and jewelry may keep standard rules. Auction orders are excluded from the extension. Standard aftersales review deadlines still apply, and missed reviews can be approved in the buyer's favor.
The accounting consequence is straightforward. Hold a return reserve by SKU, weighted toward products with fit, quality, or giftability risk. A February return still carries the original product cost, outbound fulfillment, and whatever you spent on creator or advertising support.
Read TikTok's Growth Numbers Carefully
TikTok says US Shop sales exceeded $500 million during the four-day 2025 BFCM weekend. It also reports sellers hosting livestreams produced 84% year-over-year sales growth across more than 760,000 sessions and 1.6 billion views.
Those are company-reported platform metrics, not a forecast for an individual shop.
The useful signal is directional: TikTok intends LIVE, three-day delivery badges, and easier returns to carry more of its holiday offer. Products requiring explanation or demonstration have a clearer content angle than items uploaded with static marketplace creative.
What to Fix Before November 11
Open Campaign Details and Account Health now. Resolve overdue orders, complaint issues, and warehouse status problems before adding traffic that amplifies them.
Build creator content around two or three hero products with stable stock and low historical return rates rather than spreading across the catalog.
Then model profit through February 10 instead of December 31. The development worth watching is whether TikTok changes co-funded discount terms or product-level eligibility inside Seller Center, since those account-specific terms decide whether the traffic justifies the margin you give up.
